$$\displaystyle \tan{x} \to -\infty$$ as $$\displaystyle x \to \frac{\pi}{2}$$ from the right.

So $$\displaystyle e^{\tan{x}} \to e^{-\infty} = 0$$ as $$\displaystyle x \to \frac{\pi}{2}$$ from the right.
