I'm currently doing a packet for a final I have soon, there are a few questions that I'm not too sure of the answer for...

1. Find the components of a vector with the given initial and terminal points. Write an equivalent vector in terms of it's components.

P1 (4,-2); P2 (-3,-3)



2. Find the horizontal and vertical components of each vector. Write an equivalent vector in the form "v = a1i + a2i"

Magnitude = 4, Direction angle = 15PI/8

If you have a vector with an initial point (x1, y1) and terminal point (x2, y2), then the vector would be defined as
v = <x2-x1, y2-y1>

2. Find the horizontal and vertical components of each vector. Write an equivalent vector in the form "v = a1i + a2i"

Magnitude = 4, Direction angle = 15PI/8
Given a vector with magnitude |v| and direction angle θ, then the components of the vector are given as
<|v|cos θ, |v|sin θ>
