Lagrangian Dynamics.

AB is a straight frictionless wire fixed at a point A on the vertical axis OA with constant velocity w(omega). A bead of mass m is constrained to move on the wire.
Set up the Lagrangian's equation.

I know that the lagrangian's equation is L=T-V where V is the potential energy and T is the kinetic Energy.
I was taking as generalised coordinates w but i don't know how to proceed and get the kinetic and potential energy.

denote by l the length of the wire.
if A is the origin then we have two coordinates x and y.
and we have sqrt(x^2+y^2)=l.
and dy/dt=w.
you have gravity as for potential energy (wrt y).
