# Integral calculation

Hi,

This is the first time I post here. I hope I will do everything correctly (Wondering)

I would like to know how to calculate this expression:

$$\displaystyle \int_{a}^{b} \frac{x^2-1}{(x^2+y^2+z^2)^{5/2}}dx$$

I am pretty sure it exists a kind of method for it.

put $$\displaystyle a^2=y^2+z^2,$$ it's a constant, since you're integrating w.r.t. $$\displaystyle x.$$
