Hi;
How do you go about proving the domain of a polynomial function?

I know its domain is (-infinity,infinity) but how do I prove this given a function?

Thanks.

Do you understand what the "natural domain" of a given formula is? It is the set of all values of the variable for which it is possible to do that calculation. A polynomial involves only addition, subtraction, and multiplication- calculations that can be done for all numbers.
