y=3cot(x+pi/2)
set up inequality:
0<x+pi/2<pi/2 = -pi/2<x<0

asymptotes = -pi/2 and 0
x-intercept of graph/line = (-pi/2+0)/2=-pi/4

so it's -pi/4 but the back of the book says its at 0 for the first period of where the line intercept at the x-axis!? i'm so confused, i don't see my errors.

EDIT: Sorry my mistake, after 4 hours i finally figured out what the problem was, i was setting up the inequality as 0<x+pi/2<pi/2 which should actually be 0<x+pi/2<pi
