function problem

Apr 2010
Hi i'm having a bit of a brain freeze here and need help with this problem.

ok so, Company A charges $30 per month and $0.20 per minute for phone calls , whereas Company B charges $20 per month and $0.25 per minute. how do i determine a formula for the phonebill form company A and company B as a function of the number of minutes that you talk per month?

any help would be awesome!

I guess you're looking for

Company A
\(\displaystyle f(m)= 30+0.20m\)

Company B
\(\displaystyle f(m)=20+0.25m\)

m=the number of minutes
