The bigger integral should go from theta = -pi/6 to theta = 7pi/6, and the smaller one take what remains. And don't forget to square r.

ok can you explain how you got your limits? i see the formula A = integral (r^2) dtheta im jus a lil confused on how to figure out the limits.... thanks

You want to find the values of theta when the curve passes through the origin, and these are just when r = 0. Solving gives theta = asin(-1/2) = -pi/6 and -5 pi/6.

one last question, where did the 7pi/6 come from? it was used as one of the limits...
