Differentiation questions.

Hi guys I have a few questions regarding my study guide. You can view my practice test under the following link.

On question four part b how can you determine whether f(x) is differentiable at x=-2?

How would I solve # 5 part c and e and #11 part e?

Finally how would I solve # 12?

Thank you so much guys. My final is tomorrow and I’m just trying to cram everything in. I appreciate your help!

4b) To be differentiable at a point it is first necessary that it be continuous there and the function given is not continuous at x=-2 so not differentiable their either.

\(\displaystyle 3^{f(x)}=e^{\ln(3)f(x)}\)

5e. Use:

\(\displaystyle \log_2(f(x)=\frac{\log_e(f(x)}{\log_e(2)}\)
