\int

i want to insert integrals signs and other math symbols, but idk how. i see that people are using something called LaTeX? i went to the website, and it recognized my integral drawing, but how do i actaully get the signs to post here.

## s^2 + b^2 \int ##

Code:
$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:dx$
$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:dx$

This \: adds a space.

If you add \displaystyle the integral sign (or some other notation, like fractions) is going to get bigger as for a display.
Code:
$\displaystyle \int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:dx$
$\displaystyle \int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:dx$
[HR][/HR]
Two dollar sign from both sides assign \displaystyle automatically (also it usually centers the expression, but in the case of this forum it just leaves more blank space to the left)
Code:
$$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:dx$$
$$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:dx$$
[HR][/HR]
Code:
$$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:\text{d}x$$
$$\int_{0}^{10} 2x^2+4\:\text{d}x$$
[HR][/HR]
Code:
$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} 2^{n}$
$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} 2^{n}$
[HR][/HR]
Code:
$$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} 2^{n}$$
$$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} 2^{n}$$

$$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} 2^{n}$$

do i have to enable somethign? it isnt working for me.

$\sum_{n=1}^{\infty} 2^{n}$

#### maxpancho

No. It looks to me like it worked. Maybe just restart you browser.
