    Question Aiming Trig

    Is it possible to find angle A of triangle ABC knowing length of AB, angle B, values of s and v, and when length of BC=st and length of AC=vt?

    Sine Rule

    Yes, it is. Using the Sine Rule:

    \frac{a}{\sin A}= \frac{b}{\sin B}

    \Rightarrow \sin A = \frac{a\sin B}{b}

    = \frac{BC \sin B}{AC}

    = \frac{st\sin B}{vt}

    = \frac{s \sin B}{v}
