Graphing a function domain and range

Hey guys, I have a couple problems I need some help with.

I am looking for the domain and range for the functions:
    f(x) = 4sin(3x+pi/2)+2
    and
    f(x) = 2tan(3pi/2 * x)

    Thanks guys.

    f(x) = 4sin(3x+pi/2)+2

The domain here is obviously every value of x that does not cause the expression (3x+\frac{\pi}{2}) to become any integral value of \frac{\pi}{2}. Right?

[quote=trigcalc4;318383]Hey guys, I have a couple problems I need some help with.

I am looking for the domain and range for the functions:

Domain is all values of x, and range is y bigger than or equal to -2, but less than or equal to 6

    f(x) = 2tan(3pi/2 * x)

range is all values of y and domain is all values of x, except for 1/3,1,5/3,.... and -1/3,-1.-5/3.. etc

    Hope this helps!!!
