    Some trig questions part 1

    Please help.

    1) $\displaystyle \cot \theta = -7/2, \cos \theta$ .........(Jhevon says: $\displaystyle \color{red}\cos \theta$ what?)
    2) $\displaystyle \tan^{-1}(1)$
    3) $\displaystyle \sin^{-1}(1)$

    $\displaystyle \cot0$ should be equal to $\displaystyle 0$ right?

    Or you mean $\displaystyle \cot\theta$?

    If yes, then

By Pythagorous Theorem, you can get $\displaystyle x$.
$\displaystyle \cot\theta$ will be -ve when II and IV quadrants.

    2) tan=1(1)

Where is the reference angle for your tangent?

    3) sin-1(1)

    Do you mean $\displaystyle \sin^{-1}1$?

    If yes,

From the graph of sine, the angle should be $\displaystyle 90^o, 450^o, 810^o, ...$
