# CSC, Sec, Cot, and CSC^-1, Sec^-1, Cot^-1 on Calc

How would I imput all of these into a TI 83/84 where there are no buttons to imput them help would be of essence...

$\displaystyle csc(x) = \frac{1}{sin(x)}$

$\displaystyle sec(x) = \frac{1}{cos(x)}$

$\displaystyle cot(x) = \frac{1}{tan(x)}$

So for $\displaystyle csc \left ( \frac{ \pi}{3} \right )$, for example, find$\displaystyle sin \left ( \frac{ \pi}{3} \right ) = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}$ and take the inverse (the $\displaystyle x^{-1}$ button): $\displaystyle csc \left ( \frac{ \pi}{3} \right ) = \frac{2}{\sqrt{3}} = \frac{2\sqrt{3}}{3}$.

For the inverses the process is similar. For example: $\displaystyle sec^{-1}(2)$, you would find $\displaystyle cos^{-1} \left ( \frac{1}{2} \right ) = \frac{\pi}{3}$.
