Thread: Trigonometry Problem

A stepladder stands on a floor, with its feet 1.5 m apart. If the angle formed by the legs is 55°, how high above the floor is the top of the ladder?

I drew a diagram to this and got 1.07 m. But my textbooks says that the answer is 1.44 m. If anyone could help and show how to obtain the answer...it will be appreciated!
