    simplify trig expression.

    simplify the following expression;

    (1 + sinx)^2 + (1-sinx)^2 + 2cos^{2}x

    Should I expand the brakets ?

    =1+2sinx+sin^2x+1-2sinx+sin^2x+2cos^2x=

    =2+2(sin^2x+cos^2x)=4
