Your answers ought to be .I'm supposed to find two square roots for a complex number, and write it in standard form.
The complex number is 100i.
The class book we have has a theorem on it that's we're supposed to use, and after I have done so (I want to reprint it here, but I'm not familiar with how to use tools in this forum yet), I ended up with these solutions:
w(0) = 2CIS45 (degrees)
W(1) = 2CIS225 (degrees)
I'm trying to put them in standard form, but already the answers I'm getting look nothing like the solutions on the sheet. Can someone here help me out with the proper way to tackle problems like these?
