    [SOLVED] trig identity: true or false

    true or false?

    sin(πx)cos(2πx)= 1/2(sin(πx)+cos(3πx))

    not sure how to approach this/which identities to use

    try x=0

    then RHS is 0

    but

    LHS is \frac{1}{2}

    [LHS means left hand side]
