I am stuck on e). I also don't understand what values 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM are on the x axis. Are they 5 and 17? Please help!

minimum tide is 10m and maximum is 22m, so therefore the mean is 16m.

So to get the corresponding times you need to solve f(x) = 16. I am assuming you have already calculated a, b and k correctly.

And yes in 24hr hour time, 5am = 05:00 and 5pm = 17:00.

When I make f(x)=16, I do that because I want to find the x value for when y is 16 =(h,k)?
And what x value do I assign when assigning a y value of 16 becayse I am stuck with two unknowns (x and h).
