• the other long member is called the strut and is angled at 80 degrees to the horizontal
• the length of the base is 1.4m

work out the lengths all the members and angles involved

I've modified your sketch a little bit: You know all three interior angles of the triangle.
Use Sine rule to calculate the length of the two sides of the triangle.
