    polar equations

    x 2nd power = 6y

    convert each rectangular equation to a polar equation

    So
    $\displaystyle (r cos \theta)^2 = 6 r sin \theta$

    $\displaystyle r^2 cos^2 \theta = 6 r sin \theta$

    $\displaystyle r = \frac{6 sin \theta}{cos^2 \theta}$, $\displaystyle r \neq 0$
