It's "pi" not pie!

1. There are any number of equivalent expressions to (1+tanx)/secx. One would be:
$sin(x) + cos(x)$ , where $cos(x) \neq 0$

2. $csc(4 \pi/3) = \frac{1}{sin(4 \pi/3)} = \frac{1}{-sin(\pi/3)} = - \frac{1}{\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}} = -\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}}$

3 and 4. $y(x) = A sin(kx - \phi)$
where A is the amplitude, k is the wavenumber, and $\phi$ is the phase shift.
