    1. Determine sin θ to 3 decimal places if cos θ = 1/2 and θ is an angle in quadrant IV

    Hi William,

     \cos \theta =\frac{1}{2} in the 4th quadrant should corresponding to a special angel. What is it?

    If you can find that angle, you should be able to figure out \sin \theta.
