    Depth of Submarine

    The sonar of a Navy Cruiser detects a nuclear submarine that is 4000 feet away from the cruiser. The angles between the water level and the submarine is 31.5 degrees. How deep is the submarine?

    This is basic trigonometry, draw a right angled triangle with you values and then apply the sin rule
