Hello were done with our exam and was willing to check these answers:
8.) FInd an equation with roots:
-1,
1/2 + Squareroot of 3 over 2,
and
1/2 - (squareroot of 3 over 2)i < (imaginary no)

9.) Find the misssing parts of the spherical triangle if the following parts are given:
c = 90degrees, b = 50degrees, A = 70degrees

The theorem about factors says that,
(x-(-1))=(x+1) is a factor
(x-(1/2+sqrt(3)/2 i)) is a factor
(x-(1/2-sqrt(3)/2 i)) is a factor.
Thus,
(x+1)(x-1/2+sqrt(3)/2 i)(x-1/2-sqrt(3)/2 i)
Is a polynomial that has these roots (though it is not unique).
