A bit of trigonometry help needed
I have a couple of math question that i cant seem to figure out
'Kyle has his own plane and he is planning his approach to the Toronto Pearson International Airport. He wants to descend at an angle of 22 degrees and he is starting his descent at a height of 10,000 feet. How long is his path to the runway?'

and

'An elevator is being installed at the mall.It will make an angle of 30 degrees with the ground and will rise up 20 feet from the ground. What is the length of the elevator?'
Any help on these would be greatly appreciated

from the diagram....

$\sin 30^0=\frac {20}{x}$
$\implies x=40\ \text{feet}$

So the length of the elevator is 40 feet
