[SOLVED] Conversion from degree minutes to radian help?
i missed class today so i did not get to learn how to convert to radians, can anyone tell me the formula or steps to convert:

20 degree 54 minutes

First of all, 60 minutes = 1 degree. So that converts your 20 degrees 54 minutes to 20.9 degrees. Secondly, a full revolution is 360 degrees or $\displaystyle 2\pi$ radians. Hence, the conversion from degrees to radians is $\displaystyle \frac{2\pi}{360} = \frac{\pi}{180}$. So your final answer will be computed as $\displaystyle 20.9 \cdot \frac{\pi}{180}$.
