A reference angle is an acute angle---that is less than 90 degrees---measured from the x-axis.
So if the reference angle is 25 degrees and the angle in question is in the 2nd quadrant, then from the x-axis in the 2nd quadrant we go up 25 degrees. And the angle in question is:
180 -25 = 155 degrees ------answer.
