Fine X in degrees, to nearest tenth: sin x = .35

1.$\displaystyle sin x = 1/\sqrt{2}$

$\displaystyle x = Asin(1/\sqrt{2})$

using a calculator, i found that $\displaystyle Asin(1/\sqrt{2})=.785398...$

I divided this number by pi and got 1/4

so the answer is $\displaystyle \frac{\pi}{4}$

2. $\displaystyle sin x = .35$

$\displaystyle x = Asin(.35)$

using a calculator, i found that $\displaystyle Asin(.35)=20.487......$

so the answer is**20.5 degrees**
