Math Help - triangle help...

    triangle help...

    right I'm doing the following:



    I've used the soh cah toa thingy to find the sin and cos of 45- I got both as 1/sqrt(2) however in the answers it says that they are both sqrt(2)/2. Strangely enough, all the other answers match.

    That's because \frac 1 {\sqrt 2} = \frac {\sqrt 2}{2}.

    Prove it by multiplying top and bottom by \sqrt 2.
