hi! can't understand what does "bearing of 325 degrees" in trigo means.
For example take this problem of 10th standard of IGCSE board-
Two boats set off from X at the same time.Boat A sets off on a bearing of 325 degrees and with a velocity of 14kmperhour.Boat B sets off on a bearing of 235 degrees with a velocity of 18kmper hour.Calculate the distance between the boats after 2.5 hours
kindly explain how to get the triangle when bearing in degrees is given.

A bearing like that is technically an azimuth. It is turned clockwise from north or the positive y-axis right around the circle.
325-235=90, so you have a right triangle which is easy to work with.
Boat A travels 14*2.5=35 km
Boat B travels 18*2.5=45 km.
So you have two sides of length 35 and 45 and a 90 degree angle.
