St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish is planning on installing a stained glass window. This will replace a plain glass triangular shaped window (which is high above the congregation). Your task is to begin the process of designing the window. You are to begin by taking the picture of the window, and drawing a model sketch of it, using the information you know about similar triangles.

The actual window measures 3 metres by 1 metre high. Draw a diagram of the window. You may use Geometer's Sketchpad or other software programs as directed by your teacher. Have the base of the triangle measure 15 cm. Determine the other dimensions of this model. Make a second triangle, congruent to the first. This will be used in another activity.
