    On the interval [ 0, 2 \pi ), yes. The general solution is
    x = \frac{2 \pi}{3} + n \pi
    where n is any integer.

    \tan x + \sqrt{3} = 0
    \tan x = - \sqrt{3}
    x = \tan ^{-1} (- \sqrt{3})
    \frac{2\pi}{3}, \frac{5 \pi}{3}

    You can have infinite solution. If the range is between 0 \ge x \ge 2\pi then you are correct.
