For example, you know that Sin120 = Sin 60

In the right-angled triangle with a 60 degree angle, the sides are 1, 2 and root 3.

Opposite the 60 degree angle is the root 3 side and the hypoteneuse is 2.

So as Sin = Opp/Hyp, Sin 60 = root(3)/2
