here is an easy way to do it, first to find out how many seconds in so many hours, multiply how many seconds there are in a minute (60) by how many minutes there are in a second (60) and then by how many hours you are dealing with (8), so the equation is (60 x 60)8 = 28,800 secs in 8 hours, then minutes are practicly the same but even more simple. Amount of seconds in a minute (60) multiplied by how many minutes (1) = 60
