    equivalent trig functions

    Hey there, got a quick question.

    How do I find the equivalent sine function for y = cos(x+pi/8)

    sin(x) = cos(x - \pi / 2)

    Hence
    cos(x + \pi / 8) = cos(x - \pi / 2 + 5 \pi / 8) = sin(x + 5 \pi / 8)
