Thread: Is something wrong with my calculator?

i have to find the value of the function and use reference angles.
sin 3.42 (radians) = -0.2748
when i use reference angle, sin(3.42 - pi) = -sin .28.
when i plug -sin .28 in the calculator, i get -0.2764. is the answer wrong?
does it have to have exactly the same as the value of sin 3.42?? These problems are worth like 10 pts each
