a ferris wheel is 35 meters in diameter and boarded at ground level. the wheel completes one full revolution every 5 minutes. At t =0 you are in the three o'clock position and ascending...Find formula using the sine function, for your height above ground after t minutes on the ferris wheel.

When you are at 3o'clock you are at half the height of the ferris wheel or 17.5m

since we go one full revolution every five min this is the peroid.
We can write this as $\sin\left( \frac{2\pi}{5}x\right)$

The amplitude is going to be 17.5m

so we get $f(x)=17.5+17.5(\sin\left( \frac{2\pi}{5}x\right))$

I'm Struggling with this questions. Need Help!!!1
I have a question. How did you get 2pi/5? is it the same as period?

Thank You
