#1: I will just use x instead of theta for sake of typing. $\displaystyle 2cos(3x)sin(x/2)=sin(7x/2)-sin(5x/2)$ $\displaystyle 2cos(2x)sin(x/2)=sin(5x/2)-sin(3x/2)$ $\displaystyle 2cos(x)sin(x/2)=sin(3x/2)-sin(x/2)$ See the pattern?. Put it together.
sorry i knew how to do it and that is not the question i asked. was my hand writing so bad? question 1 : was my expression correct? question 2 : is trial and error the only way to get the correct value of n?
