sec x <0 and csc x >0

$x$ is an angle in standard position with $0 \leq x \leq 2\pi$

Determine the quadrant of $x$ .

$(1)\;\cos x < 0\,\text{ and }\,\csc x > 0$

$\cos x$ is negative in Quadrants 2 and 3.

$\csc x,\,\sin x$ is positive in Quadrants 1 and 2.

Therefore, $x$ is in Quadrant 2.

$(2)\;\sec x < 0\,\text{ and }\,\csc x >0$
