    Find the angle in a circle with two parameters.

    Hello guys I am struggling to find the angle beta that is shown in red in the figure.
    The only information in the problem are the parameters L, theta=wt, and r=radius.
    I do appreciate your help, particularly if the problem can't be sold, and then needs additional information

    Clearly, given only that information, beta can be any angle. You can "swing" the pendulum through any angle without changing wt, r, or L.

    Thanks for your help. So, in other words, you are saying that is not possible to find a clear relationship between theta and beta with the information provided by the problem.
