I've been trying to get this problem for a while, but I still keep getting the wrong answer:

1/sect+1/sect+1=2cotcsct

How would you do it correctly?

Could you recheck the problem?

Is it cot(t)csc(t) or (as it now says) cot(csc(t))?
Is it twice 1/sec(t) at the LHS?

That's correct. I copied it down wrong.

In that case, it's not an identity. Or do you mean it's an equation which has to be solved for t?
