    Equations

Determine all solutions of each equation in radians (for x) or degrees (for theta) to the nearest tenth as appropriate.

    3sin^2x - sin x - 1 = 0

Not sure how to go about this one. I can not seem to factor it out and when I use the quadratic formula, it doesnt work out. What am I doing wrong? Please help me, one more time. Im gonna hire you guys as a tutor. Hehehehe!

    Let y = sin(x). Then solve 3y^2-y-1=0.
