    [SOLVED] Need help withTrig Identity Problem

    Simplify cos(1/2-theta)

    Can anyone ou there explain the steps to solve this? I am having a very difficult time with this one.

    I assume you just want to change the form, in which case I would say
    cos(a-b)=cos(a)cos(b)+sin(a)sin(b)

    If thats not what you are looking for, you'll have to be more specific.
