    finding the length

    I need to find the length of LT in the attached picture. What is the answer and how do you work it out?

    similar triangles...

    arctan(50/75) = 33ish

    cos(33ish) * 25 = LT

    LP is the hypotenuse of a right triangle who's other sides are 25m and 50m
    so using Pythogora's theorem we have:

    LP^2 = 25^2 + 50^2
