    Exclamation Pythagoras theorem angle measurement

Hi everyone, I am meant to calculate the length of PQ and the length of PR using this diagram: http://oi42.tinypic.com/2mxo6lg.jpg

My question is how do I calculate the lengths? I want to solve the answer for myself so what steps do I need to take to calculate the length?

    thanks

    Re: Pythagoras theorem angle measurement

The problem states you're dealing with a box, so it's safe to assume all angles are 90 degrees. Given that, you can figure out PQ using Pythagoras.

From there, you know RQ is 5 and since PQ forms the leg of another right triangle, you can solve ΔPQR for PR. No angle measurement involved
