# Math Help - Triangular Prism

1. ## Triangular Prism

Find the volume of the triangular prism whose length is 15 cm, altitude 10 cm and base is 11 cm.?

2. ## Re: Triangular Prism

Wait, which lengths are which? Do you have a diagram?

3. ## Re: Triangular Prism

The "base" of a prism is a two dimensional region. Did you mean that the base is 11 square cm?

I think that the OP meant that the "base" of the triangle cross section is 11cm, the altitude/height of the triangle cross section is 10cm, and the depth/height of the prism is 15cm.

Without a diagram it's a bit hard to decipher...

5. ## Re: Triangular Prism

volume=1/2*length*width*height =1/2*15*10*11cm^3= 825 cm^3
