Need help solving trig Identity
Hi I am having trouble with these Trig questions:

1) (tanx)(csc^2x)/Sec^2x
2) (cotx)(sec^2x)/csc^2x

If anyone could help that would be great!

By identity I presume you mean simplify? The easiest way to do this is to write everything in terms of sines and cosines. For example

$\tan(x)\cdot \csc^2(x) \cdot \frac{1}{\sec^2(x)}=\frac{\sin(x)}{\cos(x)}\cdot \frac{1}{\sin^2(x)}\cdot \frac{\cos^2(x)}{1}$

Neither of these is an identity, or even an equality...

Re: Need help solving trig Identity
MY mistake everyone with my wording the unit is trig identities and equations the question is asking us to simplify by writing as a single trig ratio.

In which case refer to my previous post.
