$\displaystyle \pi$ radians = 180 degrees, so to convert radians to degrees, multiply by 180, and divide by $\displaystyle \pi$.

so $\displaystyle -1.287$ radians $\displaystyle * \frac{180}{\pi} = -73.7396682$ degrees

To go from degrees to radians, you multiply by $\displaystyle \pi$ and divide by 180.
