Can Someone solve this for me?
Might be a little more than trig, but I'm sure there are some smart people out there. (Giggle)

Can someone tell me what force is needed to oppose the 805 lbs?

the heavey blue lines is the lever.
the orange line is the vector force to hold the 805 lbs.

I think the question pertains to moments in physics. In case we know the angle which the vector force makes with the lever we can then find the vector.

That's correct. I'm just not sure on how to write the equation for this. I used to be really good at math, but that was over 20 years ago...
